Creative Nature Journal Workshop: Water Color Pencils Versus Regular Colored Pencils

Learn about and try out new tips, tricks, and tools. Join Park Staff and guest speaker(s) to explore the world of Nature Journaling. Each workshop will meet at the Terrapin Station Shelter in the Day use area. All workshops will start at 10:00 am and end at noon. Each workshop will focus on a new skill and or trick to enhance your journaling experience. We will learn together and from each other. Bring your own Journal whether it is one that you will use all year or one just for these workshops and a sense of wonder. ALL workshops will be held outdoors in nature.

June 17 – Water Color Pencils Versus Regular Colored Pencils

Color exploration – experiment with different methods of adding color to your journal. There will be time to update your Phenology Wheel. We will explore the area for a plant or animal to journal about. Field guides will be available feel free to bring your own as well.
